It is unlikely that the iPhone will suffer the same fate as the Blackberry. Apple, iPhone’s proud owner, is not a new comer to the competitive fast-paced world of handhelds, electronics, smartphones, or computers. Mac has had market experience competing with PC. Who hasn’t seen the Mac vs PC commercials on TV? Mac presented itself as trendy, cool, suave and effective. In advertising, anyway, PC lags behind to bite the dust. Many a home owns the PC, but there’s no denying that the Mac is the one you show off with.
Clearly, Apple’s success with their previous PC competitor has been priceless! Where Blackberry has failed to follow market trends and challenge consumer demands, Apple has successfully dictated to its consumers that yet another iPhone is the next best thing. It is the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5c that we covet . No doubt, the iPhone 5 or the iPhone 5c is at the top of most Christmas lists. Upgrade is synonymous with iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c now. But, don’t get too stuck on this. Everyone who is anyone knows, the next Upgrade will put the iPhone 5 or iPhone 5c aside, for the iPhone 6. For now, to have and to hold an iPhone 5 or the iPhone 5c, whichever one YOU prefer, is Avant Garde!
Apple understands that the more versions of the iPhone they make, the larger their share on store shelves. As more iPhones reach more consumers, the stronger the consumer demands. And somewhere in their consumer demographics, there will always be the go-getters who will get the latest. Whether it be the iPhone 5 or iPhone 5c today or the iPhone 25, for example, someone will be desperate to be among the firsts to own it. So, Apple will keep making it trendier, nicer, brighter, cooler, add more bling and pizzazz.
There’s a “hey, let’s wait and see what Apple comes up with next?” excitement that we’ve all come to expect. What about you? Go on, the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5c are beckoning you.
